UTCEF2024 now invites you to participate in our annual forum special event — A Lightening Moment in My Life, to share the story between you and the “light" that brings you strength, courage, and love!

⭐️Part One: Show your “Lightening Item”
A lightening item is an object that represents something unique in your educational journey. Submit a picture of your lightening item and tell us the story behind it. At the opening ceremony of this year’s forum, the pictures collected from all participants will be exhibited.

⭐️Part Two: Share your “Lightening Adventure”
UTCEF will select some stories from our participants and invite them to a virtual interview. Selected interview videos will be shared on UTCEF social media platforms.

2024 UTCEF Spring Festival Cultural Fair was joyfully held by China Education Forum (UTCEF) on February 2, 2024!!🧨🎉
Colleagues of diverse backgrounds from UofT and the Greater Toronto Area participated in this event along with their family and friends. It was a tapestry of cultural wonders, weaving together the rich traditions of China through captivating cultural showcases and activities, such as Calligraphy, Window Art Design, as well as Ring Throwing Game.
We celebrate Chinese culture and promote cross-cultural understanding with various events throughout the year. For more information for our annual educational forum in June, please follow us on our social media account.

🔹 Cheng Cen (Gladys): A visionary in curriculum design and educational innovation, Gladys is pursuing her Doctor of Education in International Educational Leadership and Policy.
🔹 Yifan Liu: With a rich academic background in sociology of education, Yifan is currently a PhD candidate in Social Justice Education.
🔹 Mingyi Li: a PhD student in Language and Literacies Education, is exploring the intersection of settler-colonialism and language education policy.
