Cassio Alexander Fontes. Born 5lbs 15oz on Jan 4th, 2026.

We don't have words to describe how complete and full we feel right now. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions but Cassio and Mummy are both healthy and doing great. Heather bounced back instantly and is absolutely crushing it as a mum. It's one of the most beautiful, satisfying and inspiring things I've ever experienced.

His blood sugar levels were low so we've been in NICU for the last 4 days, but he's happy, eating well and we can't wait to get him home to start our life together as a family.

Thank you to all the staff at both and for taking care of our sweet baby boy.

This is the very last photo I took with Obie before we put him down.

Being there for my dog in his final moments, running my fingers through his fur and watching him as his heart stopped. That's a pain I cannot describe and wouldn't wish upon anyone. I knew this would hurt, I just didn't expect it to hit me this hard.

Dogs are some of the most beautiful creatures on this planet and we were lucky enough to have spent nearly 17 years with this one. He was always there for me, he would lick the tears off my face when I cried, he would trick you while playing tag, he was obssessed with water bottles and wait for you to finish yours, he would race me home from the corner of the street, he loved kids and would try to save everyone's life in the pool.

There are soo many amazing memories I have with this sweet sweet boy. He was my first dog and I love him dearly. The finality of losing my first pet is heart breaking, but his health issues were undeniable. He was suffering so much that it was absolutely the right thing to do.

Dogs are special and I'll never forget this one. I love you Obi-Wan Kenobi. Thank you for everything ♥️🐾

I was fortunate enough to meet Ozzy backstage twice at two separate Sabbath shows where he first signed my book and then my arm, which I got tattooed the next day.

Truthfully I didn't really listen to them much growing up, but that all changed when I was 19 and joined a Black Sabbath tribute band called Strictly Sabbath. Through hard work and dedication I learned every single note, beat and fill of every song. We played a ton of shows together and those 5 years not only forced me to become a much better drummer, but they made me appreciate how absolutely amazing and influential this band was.

Bill Ward's drumming is now deeply ingrained in my playing. The fusion of heavy hitting rock rhthyms with a swingy jazz feel made for such a unique blend of styles that produced something truly special I have never heard before.

I cherish my time with that group, as I became a massive fan and would now call Black Sabbath one of my favourite bands of all time. Specifically that Ozzy Era between 1968-1979, that was a truly magical time.

We often share kind words and memories only after someone has died, but let's celebrate the man while we have him. To Ozzy John Osbourne! The Prince of Darkness and the voice of Madness himself 🤘🦇🤘

It was 10 years ago today that I decided to dive head first into what would become without a doubt, the best decision I have ever made in my entire life.

The fact that I even met you, the timing, the circumstances, etc was a miracle on it's own, but when it happened I knew I was never going to let you go, and now I can't imagine my life without you.

You are the sweetest and most thoughtfully empathetic person I have ever met and I continue to learn soo much from you every day. I am so extraordinarily blessed and fortunate to love and be loved by someone like you and I can't wait for the next chapter of our lives together.

Had an amazing time In Vancouver working on a massive event with by my side. Spent some quality time with my little sister and then flew over to Salt Spring Island to visit our good friends and to play with the kids, pet some pigs and get some great training in with the team at 🤘

I love to perform and there's nothing better than getting to do it with an entire Orchestra of over 40 phenomenally talented musicians backing you up. It's like getting to take a Ferrari for a test drive.

The Oakville Wind Orchestra is the oldest running concert band in Canadian history and it's always an absolute honour to share the stage with them. A huge thank you to all the executives at the for inviting me back as well as my very good friend !

Chris is the longest tenured conductor in the bands history and is celebrating his 25th year with the group so a massive congrats to him and everything he's accomplished.

Lastly a huge thank you to the for hosting us in such a beautiful venue and to everyone who bought a ticket to come and see the show!

Man I love martial arts. I can't express how much they've benfitted my life. Mentally, physically, emotionally, philosophically, spiritually.

It really keeps your ego and insecurities in check. It provides that perfect balance of confidence and humility by showcasing how easily someone can control and dominate another person using effective technique and skill. It also teaches you one of the most important life lessons...

Blame no one but yourself.

If I get beaten, it's my fault and no one else's. If you make me tap it means I wasn't good enough. Maybe I didn't learn the defense or practice enough and now I need to work harder to improve. There is always something to learn in martial arts, no one knows it all. It is infinite.

I carry all of that resilience and experience into other aspects of my life and it's helped me tremendously. Martial Arts are my religion 🥋🙏

Finally got around to creating a display of my martial arts journey. Some may think it's silly, but for me it serves as a visual reminder that success consistently requires hard work and sacrifices. Everything worth anything in life must be earned.

Design wise I decided to go super minimal but with an aesthetic that still evokes the Japanese origins of Jiu-Jitsu in the shape and materials. Really happy with how it turned out. Black Walnut with a dark stain and blue epoxy filling for my Azorian heritage.

Soundtracks and orchestral music have always been the most moving and complex form of expression for me. I looked up to men like John Williams, Danny Elfman, Howard Shore and Hans Zimmer as much as any other rock star. Their music has shaped my life.

I've always wanted to score for TV, Film or Games and now I finally have the opportunity to do so. I'll be scoring all of the music for an upcoming animated fantasy show called The Realm. We're still in the early stages of the process, but I've just finished the first version of the main theme for an upcoming trailer so feel free to give it a listen and share it if you like it.

I'll also be doing all of the sound design/editing/FX/recording as well as voicing the villain Malus and possibly others. Fingers crossed that the show makes it to TV.
