Plastic bumpers at a lot of shops get cut up, and then thrown out. Recycling them is a bit of a pain, as the payment on it is much less than the labour to pack it all up in a trailer and bring it to a recycler (it’s not worth enough for them to drive around and pick it up).
But through our efforts at our shops, we saved 6,853 lbs of plastic from being deposited at landfills last year, and that’s an accomplishment to feel good about.
