Thinking of ourselves as somewhat “modern” arborists, we’ve adopted a paper free digital system years ago to save waste, avoid lost documents, and expedite how we send and receive estimates, invoices, and arborist reports. Although I love meeting and shmoozing with clients, this system allows us to see trees, quote, work on, invoice, and collect with absolutely zero physical interactions, keeping it Covid-kosher..... 😷🤒

Always better to be proactive than reactive when it comes to tree failure. Weather network Canada forecasting potential gusts of 120km/h tomorrow. Winds that strong can easily tear a tree to pieces and / or topple it over completely. Take the five minutes now to reposition your car(s), BBQ, kids playscape, deck furniture, etc to avoid any further damage from falling debris..... Be safe and LOOK UP if you go out tomorrow.

With freezing rain forecasts predicting up to 20mm of ice accumulation in Toronto by Sunday night combined with 70km/h winds, we may see a repeat of the 2013 Ice storm. Be extra cautious over the weekend as to where you’re walking, parking cars, and kids/pets are playing. It also couldn’t hurt to proactively move any “targets” (lawn furniture, BBQs, chimineas, toys, bikes, etc.) from below your trees.
