Today marks 𝟏𝟖𝟏 years since the arrival of the 𝟐𝟐𝟓 passengers who completed the historic voyage from India to Trinidad in 1845. They carried a rich heritage in their hearts and laid the foundation for the beautiful, diverse legacy we are so blessed to inherit today. 
 
Being an 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐧 family business means we have the privilege of carrying forward the traditions, values, and resilience of those who came before us. We honour the culture they preserved while celebrating the vibrant life they built for future generations. 
 
To our customers who may be learning about this day for the first time, every roti we wrap, every spice we blend, and every piece of culture we share is rooted in a journey that began 181 years ago. 
 
To those who know the history, we stand with you today in remembrance, gratitude, and pride. We honour the sacrifices, perseverance, and contributions of the 225 passengers whose courage helped shape Trinidad and Tobago into the nation we know and love today.
