We’re elated to present Jason Zante, our solo artist for this weeks edition of Stacktd Identities 🏳️🌈
Join us tonight between 6pm - 8pm to tour through Zantes work, with the artist himself, at Unit 2-104.
Jason Zante is a Filipino- Canadian artist based in Toronto, Canada. He received his B.DES in Graphic Design from OCAD University in 2020. With a multidisciplinary background, he specializes primarily in digital art, illustration, and mural installation.
He creates surreal and stylized compositions of dream-like environments dominated by colours and floating symbols that recall imagination and familiarity. Influenced by nature and surreal painters, Jason’s work radiates with vibrant colours that form a sensorial experience and escapism. His work depicts themes of natural landscapes and everyday leisure. At times, he also draws references from his Filipino culture to incorporate into his artworks.
Zante has worked on many notable site-specific commissions including a mural for The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto (2021), a 1200 sf permanent art and mural for Fallsview Casino Resorts in Niagara Falls (2022), and art billboards for Cadillac Fairview Toronto Eaton Centre (2021). His work is in private collections of TD Bank, Cboe Global Markets, and CIBC. His clients also include BentallGreenOak, Klick Health, Wattpad, The Globe & Mail, NBA Canada and Deciem.
Zante’s creations have been featured by Forbes, Architectural Digest, Complex magazine, CTV News, Blogto, The Toronto Star, Yorkville Murals, Highsnobiety, Hypebeast and Artnet.

Everyone say hello to Kelcy Timmons Chan (they/she), the first artist exhibiting with us at as part of our newest program, Stacktd Identities 🏳️🌈
Kelcy Timmons Chan (they/she) is a Cantonese Canadian American q***r artist based in Toronto. Their work explores themes on intersectionality, duality, and belonging, through the consideration of their own experience as a biracial q***r person. She aims to up lift and connect with people who have intersectionality and feel that they are many things at once.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver, Timmons Chan is second-generation Asian American born from immigrant parents. Now residing in Toronto, they work as a Contemporary Pop Artist, Mural Painter, Illustrator, and Designer.
Their focus in their personal practice is to show how our unique qualities and similarities to those around us create cultural bonds and division, igniting many forms of togetherness and isolation. By highlighting these, they consider how these interactions affect each of our senses of belonging, social connectivity, and proximity to self-actualization.
Using patterns, optical illusions, and repetition, Kelcy attempts to package these relatable complex subjects into intricate, captivating compositions, showing us that we are oddly as much the same, as we are uniquely different.
As of today, Kelcy’s exhibition is open to the world! However, for your chance to meet with Kelcy and learn more about their work, pop by the galley on Friday, June 9th (tomorrow!!) between 6pm-8pm 👋🏼
You can find us at Stackt Market, Unit 2-104 on Tuesday-Sunday, between 12pm-8pm.

Every Thursday between 6pm-8pm you can join us as we open each new exhibition featuring Kelcy Timmons Chan, Jason Zante, and Nicko Cecchini. The artists will each be presenting their own bodies of work that navigate their Q***r, racial, and artistic identities.

Bodies in Time & Space:
Environments shift as bodies occupy their spaces. Alternatively, time can alter how we define or perceive our bodies. When we start to consider the intersectionality of the countless types of bodies in our world, we must recognize that there is no singular response to how individuals occupy time or space. As response to this action and reaction within environments, Bodies in Time & Space brings together four artists to showcases the multiplicity of their human experiences.
Ahmad Naser Eldein, Alina Chen, Cecilia Bracmort, and Diwya De Silva use personal, political, and/or sexual inquisitions of identities, decolonization, and immigration to showcase how their bodies, or bodies akin to theirs, are affected by time and space.
Reception: May 18th, 7-9pm
This collection of photography is being presented as part of and would like to acknowledge the and for their support, and for the venue! 🤍🤍
