New to vinyl? Looking for a good entry level turntable? Look no further than the Audio Technica AT-LP60X! This is the turntable we recommend to anyone looking to get started.

There are a lot of very cheap turntables out there, but this is one area where spending a little more matters. We generally recommend avoiding those suitcase players and the ultra cheap Amazon specials because with those the tonearm, cartridge and stylus are often where the biggest compromises are made. That translates to poor tracking, skipping, and unnecessary wear and tear on your records.

The AT-LP60X avoids all of that without making things complicated. It’s fully automatic, comes set up from the factory, has a replaceable (and upgradable) stylus and a built in phono preamp, so it can connect directly to powered speakers or almost any stereo, portable speaker, or soundbar with a line input.

Put a record on, press start, and enjoy the tunes! It’s simple, affordable, sounds good and most importantly, it plays your records properly.

Nothing is invincible to the rigours of shipping, however something we have always prided ourselves on is the way we pack your records. Accidents happen, but they happen far less frequently thanks to the effort we put into our packaging. There’s no pizza box here. We sleeve every record, we pad every box, and even add hot glued corner protection on larger orders.

We can’t completely control the outcome, but we certainly can mitigate any damage in transit. Happy to “toot our own horn” on this one…
