Brittany Harper lives in the shadow of her “perfect” twin, Ashley, a woman who
embodies everything Brittany isn’t: successful entrepreneur, beautiful, admired, loved. When Brittany creates a revolutionary app to manage her crippling anxiety, Ashley steals the idea and begins dismantling Brittany’s life piece by piece. As Brittany fights to reclaim her identity; reality begins to fracture.

BRITTANY (LEAD)
Female, early 30s, Black
Introverted, intelligent, and deeply insecure. Brittany lives in a constant state of
comparison and feels like she’s losing at life.

ASHLEY – CO-LEAD
Female, early 30s, same ethnicity as Brittany
Confident, polished, and outwardly successful. Ashley is everything Brittany believes she is not

• Must balance charm with underlying menace
• Key to psychological tension

MARGARET (Mother)
Female, 50s–60s, Black
Well-presented, traditional, and emotionally dismissive. She favors Ashley and subtly
undermines Brittany. Values appearances,
success, and social norms.
Notes:
• Plays “polite damage”
• Doesn’t see herself as the problem

LARRY (Father)
Male, 50s–60s, Black
Quiet, agreeable, and largely passive. He reinforces Margaret’s bias through silence and occasional praise of Ashley. Avoids conflict, even when it’s harmful.
Notes:
• Minimal dialogue, but important presence

SHARON (Therapist)
Female, 35s–40s, White
Calm, measured, and professional. Speaks with reassurance and authority.

TOM (Coworker)
Male, late 20s–30s, White
Confident, casually dismissive, and aligned with workplace hierarchy.

• Natural, grounded performance
• Represents workplace pressure
