We’re usually told being a mother is one of the most thankless jobs. So is one day of appreciating our mothers enough?

Not really.

Let’s use this day to remember the many many things our mother and mother-figures do for us every, single, day and commit to at the very least - thanking them. They deserve it.

It shouldn’t take a pandemic for us to realize how much our nurses mean and do for us. Without them - we’d fall apart. There are doctors being trained to work as ICU nurses now because our nurses are crucial to the system. They care for us in so many ways that we don’t even realize.
