The Toronto Early Cognition Lab is looking for 8 and 9 year olds to participate in a 30 minute online study about how children think about the future and form positive expectations.

🧠 During the session, children will watch short videos, answer simple questions, explore pictures and shapes, and play a fun memory game.

💻 The study takes place online, making it easy to participate from home.

🎁 Families receive $10 in compensation ($5 for the study session and $5 for surveys), and children receive a University of Toronto participation certificate.

Researchers at the Toronto Early Cognition Lab are looking for babies aged 12–23 months to participate in a 15–20 minute online study.

Your child will watch simple animated videos featuring babies and caregivers interacting with one another. These activities help us learn more about how young children understand relationships between family members.

The Toronto Early Cognition Lab is inviting families with babies 10–13.99 months old to take part in a two-part online study exploring how babies respond to fairness and helping behaviour.

👶 During the sessions, your baby will watch short, baby-friendly videos featuring helpful and unhelpful puppets, as well as people sharing cookies fairly or unfairly.

💻 The study takes place online over Zoom and includes two short sessions, each lasting about 10–15 minutes.

🎁 Families receive a $5 Amazon gift card per session, and babies earn a University of Toronto participation certificate.
