How to build high ticket offers that people will pay thousands for

Photos from Authentic Gazzy's post 07/28/2026

My first year in business I made six figures and had no idea where any of it went…

So when tax season came and I owed thousands, I wanted to cry. I decided I sucked at this.

But I wasn’t bad with money. I just didn’t know my numbers.

That’s exactly why I brought Jami Monte, CPA, CGA | CFO, Speaker & Bookkeeping Pro on the show.

She’s a CPA and the founder of Chillbooks, and she has this rare gift for making Intuit QuickBooks Canada & bookkeeping feel like freedom instead of the thing you dread.

Most of us do our books for one reason…Tax season.

So we avoid Intuit QuickBooks Canada all year, hand a mess to our accountant, and hope they can work a miracle. IYKK 😭

But your accountant can’t make numbers up.

Whatever you give them is what they’re working with.

Your numbers aren’t a chore you do for the CRA.

They’re the tool that tells you what to do next.

✅ Who to hire.

➡️ What’s moving the needle.

💰When you can finally pay yourself.

If you’ve been avoiding your numbers, this is your episode.

Comment LISTEN and I’ll send it straight to you. 👇

Most podcasters do not make it past 7 episodes…

This week, we hit 10 and I am so friggin proud of myself and my team!

I will be honest with you. When I launched CEO Sales Sessions in May I had no idea what I was actually signing up for.

If someone had told me everything it takes to run a podcast I probably would not have done it. FR FR 😝

But here we are. 10 episodes live. Over 675 downloads.

And the best part is the feedback from the women messaging me from their morning walks, their cars, their kitchens before the kids wake up to tell me that the episode was exactly what they needed to hear.

And in just a few months I will be flying to Orlando to interview a unicorn founder because the podcast is opening doors I could not have knocked on any other way.

It has taught me more about my own business, my voice, and my community building than any strategy session ever has.

And you know me, I share my learning as I go. Building in public with my community ALWAYS.

So here are 10 lessons from my first 10 episodes.

If you have tuned in, thank you for choosing to listen. I hope you get value every single time you give me your time.

And if you have not yet, there are 10 episodes waiting for you.

Listen wherever you listen to your favourite podcasts.

Your sales aren’t inconsistent. Your selling is.

When you sell cause you need money, that energy of need shows up in every conversation you have.

It grips.

It repels the exact people you most want to work with.

Meanwhile you’ve been busy this whole time.

Posting. Batching. Planning. But content has a job, and selling has a job, and you’ve been asking content to do a salesperson’s work.

So make selling a habit, not an emergency.

ABC➡️Always be closing. Every day, not every crisis.

Save this. Then go have one buying conversation today.

Everyone’s selling you the same fix… More leads.

More content. More ads. More reach.

But most of the time, that isn’t your problem.

The clients you’re praying for are already in your world.

They raised their hand, they paid you, they gave you their email. And then they never heard from you again.

We chase the stranger and neglect the person who already said yes.

It feels productive. It’s actually the most expensive habit in your business.

So the real question was never how do I get more leads.

It’s what am I doing with the ones I’ve already got.

That’s the whole episode this week.

You pitched once and heard nothing back.

So you assumed they weren’t interested.

But the marketing tells a different story.

Most people need somewhere between 8 and 12 touchpoints before they trust you enough to buy.

Not 1. Not 2.

Trust points.

Little moments along the journey where you show up, you give value, and you quietly position yourself as the person who actually knows their stuff.

So that silence after your first offer isn’t a no.

It’s touchpoint number three.

The sale was never one conversation.

It was a series of them.

So before you write someone off, ask how many times you’ve actually shown up for them.

Selling isn’t something you do to someone.

It’s something you do for them🫶

Read that again, because it changes everything.

For a long time selling felt icky to me, embarrassing, pushy, like something I was doing TO the very people I most wanted to help and that feeling leaked into every conversation I had.

Then someone gave me a picture that flipped it.

Imagine a person in front of you with a dry, hacking cough, and you’re holding a glass of water.

You’d offer it. Of course you would.

So if your work can genuinely help someone and you stay quiet, that silence isn’t humble, it’s a disservice.

Sales is service.

And the confidence you keep waiting for doesn’t live in a book or a script.

It’s built in the ring, one real conversation at a time.

Al won’t replace entrepreneurs… But it WILL replace bad systems 💯

This week on CEO Sales Sessions I sat down with my first-ever male guest, Trevor Davis, founder of DigiWell Marketing and my high school classmate turned colleague.

He’s run his business from 29 countries, and we’ve spent years building sales systems for clients together.

Here’s the part most founders get wrong: they’re asking

“will Al take my job?”

when they should be asking “how do I use it to get better at mine?”

Trevor’s rule stuck with me: automate the reversible, verify the consequential.

Let Al take the grunt work, the drafts, the admin, the boring middle. But anything with your name on it, going out to the public? Keep a human in the loop.

Because Al is only as good as what you feed it, and outreach is the new spam. Trust is still built human to human.

The proof? Years ago we plugged in ONE automated email for a client.

Three months later it had brought in over $10,000 - while we did nothing.

That’s not luck. That’s a system.

Stop fearing the tool. Build the system.
