DIY In Progress
Let's Build Confidence With Creativity!
AD| Every DIY project teaches me something new.
The more I understand how something works, the more confident I feel tackling it. Whether it’s learning a new tool, discovering a new building technique, or troubleshooting a project that isn’t going according to plan, knowledge always makes the process less intimidating.
This mindset applies to more than just DIY projects!
I’ve been exploring and really appreciate having a tool that helps me better understand patterns, learn more about my cycle, and feel more informed about my body. 💜
Learning isn’t only about building things - sometimes it’s about understanding yourself a little better too.

Part 3 of my Europe adventure… 🇮🇹✨ Rome.
Rome felt completely different from Florence. It buzzed with energy. Around every corner was another ancient ruin, another hidden alleyway, another incredible meal that somehow convinced me I could survive entirely on pasta, wine, aperol spritz and gelato - It was completely worth it 🤤
Walking through the Colosseum and learning about Ancient Rome was surreal. Standing inside spaces that have existed for thousands of years has a way of making you feel incredibly small, in the best possible way.
But as inspiring as the landmarks were…per usual, it was the little details that completely stole my heart.
The mosaic art woven into the floors, walls, and ceilings. The stained glass windows glowing in the light. Flowers spilling over crumbling stone. Ornate fences, weathered textures, unexpected colours… every tiny detail felt intentional. It reminded me that beauty isn’t always found in the grandest moments. Sometimes, it’s tucked into the quiet corners that most people walk right past.
I left every day with pages of ideas in my head, already dreaming about how I could bring pieces of that magic home and weave them into my own creative work.
We wandered through Castel Sant’Angelo, crossed into Vatican City, attempted to make our own pasta and tiramisu (my pasta still needs… a little work 😂), and filled every day with experiences I’ll never forget.
The perfect ending was getting to spend our final day with two of our best friends before they set off on their own three-week European adventure. ✨ It was such a beautiful way to close this chapter.
Ive returned with a full heart and a mind overflowing with inspiration. This trip reminded me that creativity is everywhere if you’re willing to look for it - GO FIND IT!
Next time, I want to venture beyond the cities. I have a feeling that’s where an entirely different kind of magic is waiting.
Until next time, Italy. ❤️🇮🇹

Part 2 of our Europe adventure: Florence 🇮🇹✨
I completely understand why so many people fall in love with this city.
Our time here felt far too short, but we made the most of every moment (and every plate of pasta 🍝). We wandered through the breathtaking Boboli Gardens overlooking Firenze, stood in awe beneath the Duomo, explored the Medici Chapel, hunted through antique markets (don’t worry… that deserves its own post 😉), and finally saw Michelangelo’s David at the Galleria dell’Accademia. 😍
Some of my favourite moments, though, weren’t on the itinerary. They were getting wonderfully lost down tiny cobblestone streets, stumbling upon hidden courtyards, little artisan shops, and quiet corners that somehow felt even more magical than the landmarks. These photos don’t even cover the experiences - I forgot to take photos a lot of the time because I was so entranced by the beauty and art! I feel so inspired! ✨
What surprised me most wasn’t the architecture or the history…it was the people. Every restaurant owner, shopkeeper, and member of our hotel staff welcomed us with such genuine warmth. They made Florence feel less like a destination and more like a place you’d want to return to again and again. ❤️
This city is overflowing with history, art, and heart. Next time, I’d love to venture beyond Firenze and explore even more of Tuscany.
Until then… thank you, Florence. ❤️
Next stop: Rome. 🏛️✨
