On tornado watch here in Brandon, Manitoba. I pulled up our windyapp we use for marine weather and after googling it appears HRRR models are best for tornado prediction. The winds pick up to 40 knots for a few hours, then it appears to slack off. I havent heard or seen thunder and lightning and rain has been limited to drops. Brandon is right on the edge of the orange alert so I am hopeful this weather will pass. Made friends with the Sprinter van next to me. At least there is somebody watching out for me! I did make sure my emergency alerts were on so I should have advance warning.
The mozzies are fierce!
