📊 2024 Toronto Housing Market Recap 🏡

The Toronto housing market had a year of change in 2024! Here’s what you need to know:

✅ Sales: Down 0.10% from 2023, with 25,703 homes sold.
✅ New Listings: Up 15.04%, giving buyers more choice.
✅ Average Price: $1,103,468, up slightly from $1,102,276 in 2023.
🏙️ Condo prices saw more declines, while ground-oriented homes held steady.

💡 High interest rates challenged affordability, but the market got a boost with major Bank of Canada rate cuts in the latter half of the year.

🔮 Looking ahead: More rate cuts and stable prices could lead to a stronger 2025 market.

Home sales surged year-over-year in November, fueled by lower borrowing costs and more affordable conditions. While new listings increased slightly, demand outpaced supply, leading to tighter market conditions and overall price growth compared to last year.
