Refugee Rights Day!

Our Manager Abeer, recently joined Refugee Rights Days at Seneca Polytechnic as a guest speaker, sharing her lived experience as a refugee alongside her work supporting newcomers across Canada.

Her voice brought real perspective to the conversation, highlighting both the challenges and the resilience within our communities today.

The session created space for meaningful dialogue with Social Service Worker students and faculty, centered on learning, reflection, and impact!

Last month, our youth came together for a series of anti-racism workshops led by incredible guest speakers, building knowledge, confidence, and leadership. The energy carried straight into a fun basketball tournament🏀

We’re grateful to be host the Futures & Careers Event at for the Thrive Youth program🙌

Meaningful to see frontline responders and community partners — Police, Firefighters, Paramedics, and 360°kids all in one room, showing up for our youth and sharing real pathways and real stories.

Engaging with students at and Play Forever was proud to participate in Club Fest at York Campus connecting through the NewTo SPACE club.

What started as a campus booth is evolving into:
• An upcoming information session
• Participation in Refugee Rights Day
• Expanded community outreach across Toronto
Strong student leadership. Meaningful dialogue. Real pathways for inclusion and opportunity. Campuses are powerful spaces for belonging and we’re proud to be part of that ecosystem

Through the program at H.J. Alexander Community School, participants received books and school resources to support their learning, building confidence, curiosity, and a love for reading. Grateful for partners investing in education and our youth.

Our Play Forever 4v4 Winter Classic ❄️🏀 brought the community together at the Pacific Institute for Sport Education . The gym was full of energy, sportsmanship, and connection for this tournament!

Six youth teams competed in our youth division surrounded by family, friends, and community members cheering them on. Huge thank you to the for generously providing the gym space and thank you for helping make this day possible!🙌
