On Friday, August 26, 2022 at approximately 3:30 p.m., police responded to a call for a stabbing in the area of Bathurst Street and Ellerslie Avenue.

Homicide victims 44 & 45 have been idenfified as:

Elvie Sig-Od, 44, and Angelica Sig-Od, 20, both of Toronto.

Godfrey Sig-Od, 46, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

Second Degree Murder
Second Degree Murder
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in room 112, via video link.

The Toronto Police Service would like to update the public on arrests made regarding the assault at The Rogers Centre, 1 Blue Jays Way.

It is alleged that:

on Friday, August 26, 2022, at approximately 9:15 p.m., a verbal argument occurred between two groups of people
the argument turned physical
a 31-year-old woman was assaulted by an unknown man and woman
she received medical attention and was transported to hospital
On Monday, August 29, 2022, both the man and woman surrendered to police at 52 Division.

David Freeman, 30, of Toronto, was charged with:

Assault
Aggravated Assault
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Monday, August 29, 2022, 10 a.m., room 111.

Saffira Andrews, 25, of Toronto, was charged with:

Assault
She is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, 11 a.m., room 101.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a man wanted in an Assault Causing Bodily Harm investigation.

On Monday, August 29, 2022, at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers responded to a call in the College Street and Roxton Road area.

It is alleged that:

On Saturday, August 27, 2022, a man attended a woman's residence in the Victoria Park Avenue and Crescent Town Road area
The man assaulted and s*xually assaulted the woman
The man has been identified as William Francis Cole, 63, of Toronto. He is wanted for:

Assault Cause Bodily Harm
Assault/Choking
S*xual Assault
He is described as 5’11," 170 lbs., with a goatee. An image has been released.

He is believed to be in the Greater Toronto Area.

He is considered violent and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

Second Degree Murder

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest where a loaded firearm and ammunition was allegedly recovered.

It is alleged that:

on Monday, August 22, 2022, at approximately 7:10 p.m., officers conducted a vehicle stop under the Highway Traffic Act in the Fred Gardiner Expressway and Kipling Avenue area
during the vehicle stop the driver was found to be in possession of a live shotgun shell
further investigation resulted in the recovery of a loaded Beretta handgun along with three rounds of ammunition
both the driver and passenger were subsequently placed under arrest
Shane Bujan, 42, of Brampton has been charged with:

Possess Ammunition while Prohibited
Possess Firearm whiile Prohibited
Possess Ammunition while Prohibited
Shane Bujan, 42, of Brampton and Kristin Brock, 34, of Niagara Falls have been jointly charged with:

Possess loaded Regulated Firearm
Occupy Motor Vehicle with Firearm
Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm without holding a Licence and Registration Certificate
Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not holding a Licence and Registration Certificate
Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon or Prohibited Device Knowing No Authority
Use/Handle/Store Firearm Careless
Possess Weapon Dangerous to Public Place
They both attended court on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 10 a.m., at Toronto West court via zoom link.

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a s*xual assault.

On Saturday, August 20, 2022, at approximately at 11 p.m., officers responded to a call for a s*xual assault in the Sheppard Avenue West and Arleta Avenue area.

It has been reported that:

a 36-year-old woman was walking in the area
she was approached by an unknown man
the man s*xually assaulted her
The man is described as 5'10", 50-60, medium build, tanned skin, clear complexion, and a U shaped goatee. He was wearing a dark hoodie, dark baseball hat, dark jeans, white undershirt, and white boxers. He had a sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted in an aggravated assault investigation.

On Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at approximately 8:45 p.m., officers responded to a call for an assault in the Bloor Street West and Major Street area.

It is reported that:

two males became involved in a brief verbal interaction
one man punched the other causing him to fall unconscious
the victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries
The suspect is described as late 30’s, 6'0", with a medium to muscular build, and balding. He was wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, black back pack, and walking with a white and brown dog.

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public about a s*xual assault.

On Sunday, August 21, 2022, in the evening hours, officers responded to a call for a s*xual assault in the Don Mills Road and Sheppard Avenue East area.

It is alleged that:

a man answered an ad posted by a 25-year-old woman online
they made arrangements and met at a residence on August 21, 2022
once inside the man produced a gun, made demands for money and personal items, then assaulted the woman
he then s*xually assaulted her
he took some of her valuable items and fled
On Sunday, August 21, 2022, Ramone Campbell, 22, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

Robbery with a Firearm
S*xual Assault with a Weapon
Assault with a Weapon
Forcible Confinement
Pointing a Firearm
Use Imitation Firearm in Commission of an Indictable Offence
Carry Concealed Weapon
He appeared in court at Toronto North Courts on Monday, August 22, 2022, at 10 a.m., in room 306, via video link.

This is an on-going investigation.

On Monday, August 22, 2022, at around 8:31 p.m., police responded to a collision at Weston Road, north of Starview Lane.

It is reported that:

a 78 year-old man in a black Dodge Grand Caravan was driving southbound on Weston Road north of Starview Lane
a 24 year-old man was driving a black Toyota Echo northbound on Weston Road
the Toyota lost control and collided with the Dodge Grand Caravan
the 24 year-old man succumbed to his injuries
This investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.

Police are asking local residents, businesses and drivers, who may have securtiy or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.

The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of a homicide investigation.

On Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11:40 a.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing at 10 Glen Everest Road.

Officers arrived and found a man suffering obvious trauma. He was rushed to hospital via emergency run. He succumbed to his injuries and pronounced deceased in hospital.

Leon Tyrell, 38, of Toronto, has been identified as the victim of this homicide.

Sathiskumar "Ryan" Rajaratnam, 34, of Toronto, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for:

Second Degree Murder
He is described as 6'1", 180 lbs., thin build, with dark hair shaved on the sides, and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his chest and shoulders.

He is believed to be armed, violent, and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have information about this incident.

Investigators have released a picture of Daniella Mallia, 23, victim of Homicide #42/2022.

Investigators have identified Dylon Dowman, 33, of Toronto, now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for:

First Degree Murder
He is described as 6'2", 380 lbs., with dark hair sometimes worn under a wrap, dark complexion, moustache and beard. He has a tattoo "Gutta Musik" on his left forearm.

He is considered armed, violent, and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a man wanted in 20 Break and Enter and Mischief investigations.

Between July 15, 2022 and August 20, 2022, Kevin Grey, 37, of Toronto, is wanted for:

11 Break and Enters into homes and businesses
9 Mischief to Property (in the attempt to break in)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
All of these incidents occurred in East York (Woodbine Avenue to Greenwood Avenue, Danforth Avenue to O'Connor Drive).

Investigators have released images of him taken during the latest incident on Saturday, August 20, 2022. He was riding a bicycle.
