5 years after its release, Sea of Thieves is introducing a solo play mode dubbed "Safer Seas".

The mode will feature no enemy players. Due to this reduced risk, players will receive a reduced loot share from their seafaring ventures. The update drops in December along with Sea of Thieves Season 10.
