Of sequences and asymmetry. It’s thrilling sometimes, to let “chance” pick the notes in a melody. Randomization has always been a very useful creative tool for me, for discovering new melodic structures in sequences. And I often wonder how much that applies to life too…

The semi-modular Moog synth station is coming together. Here’s to more stream-of-consciousness jams, and reduced friction points from idea to song. There’s so much beauty in the randomness and unplanned nature of analog synths, especially when you start patching them experimentally. Highly underrated.
