This Saturday, November 11th, is Remembrance Day. We want to take a moment to express our gratitude to all service members, past and present, for their service and sacrifice. This day also marks the anniversary of the end of the First World War. We are forever indebted to those who stepped forward and sacrificed their lives to give future generations a better future with the freedoms we enjoy today.

Don’t let your treats trick you out of staying safe this .
Pedestrian road fatalities are consistent throughout the year, but some characteristics are particularly concerning at Halloween.

The first snowfall is upon us in Central Alberta which means the winter season is back and it brings nasty driving conditions.
When mother nature rears her icy grip, you had better be prepared to answer. Every year, the skills of new and seasoned drivers are tested. Know your limits and remain in control. No destination is worth it.
Stay safe on the roads today, we all want to make it home tonight.

Vehicle Size Matters: Staying focused when sharing the road with large trucks.
Blind spots for large trucks are substantially larger than a passenger vehicle. A good rule of thumb is that if you can't see the truck driver in their side mirrors, then THEY CAN'T SEE YOU.

Starting September 1, drivers must slow down when passing all roadside workers – just like you do now for police, ambulances, fire trucks and tow trucks.
Drivers who fail to comply with the new safety rules could receive a $243 fine and 3 demerits. Drivers passing any stopped roadside vehicle with flashing lights activated could also receive speed fines.
