As a human in general and a woman in particular, I am amazed at the myriad of emotions I feel. A certain song, smell, verse or moment will trigger a feeling of hollowness or ecstasy, sadness or happiness, emptiness or being surrounded by love… it truly surprises me how these feeling can overwhelm me. Yet I am grateful for this dichotomy of life, it keeps me humble and grateful for when I am feeling ecstatic or happy or loved and also mindful when I feel hollowness or sadness or lonely that this too shall pass. Being a human is something I will choose again and again and life is a celebration.

Happy birthday to my darling mom…she is the one who inspires me to just BE. Be content in the moment, spend less than you earn, gestures are more important than mere words, acts of serving is her love language and strength could be her middle name! I am proud to call you my mommy and I wish you Happy birthday.. May god always keep a blessed hand over you ❤️
