Your oil may still look relatively clean and still be ready for replacement. Engine oil gradually loses the additives that help control heat, prevent deposits and protect internal engine components. Short trips can be especially hard on oil because the engine may not stay hot long enough to evaporate accumulated moisture and fuel vapour. Following the oil change interval recommended for your vehicle and driving habits can help protect your engine over the long term.

Beat the seasonal rush and get ready for winter early. Save $10 on your winter tire change when completed before October 31st at The Mufflerman.
Book early and have your vehicle ready before the winter weather arrives. Visit your nearest shop for details.

Does your vehicle pull to one side like it is trying to change lanes without asking? Uneven tire wear or an off-centre steering wheel could mean it is time for an alignment check.

Your battery does not care that you're already late for work. If starts are getting slower, have it tested before cooler fall mornings put it to the test.

Fall car care does not have to be complicated. Check your tire pressure, oil, lights, washer fluid, and wipers before the colder weather arrives. A few quick checks now can save some hassle later.

Rain, road spray, dirt, and early fall mess can make a windshield dirty in a hurry. Keep your washer fluid topped up so clear visibility is always just a quick spray away.

Brake noise is not part of your fall playlist. Squealing, grinding, shaking, or longer stopping distances are all good reasons to have your brakes inspected. Visit the location nearest you: themufflerman.com/locations
