What a great day as Strathmore High School students got out for our Community Work Day! We were excited to have some helpers around the greenhouse as we were able to do some landscaping. We are super grateful for Gray's Limited who once again were able to help us out. They were hauling soil and gravel all morning and helping us move it around with a skid steer. We are super excited to have a landscape that students and community members can start planting in. We can't wait to get our orders from Wheatland Trees, Eagle Lake Nurseries Ltd, Wild About Flowers - Native Plant Nursery and to arrange a visit with our students to AVB Greenhouses so they can plant their herb spiral! Typical 10hrs/day, 5-6 days per week
Some equipment operating required, Packers, Rocktrucks, Skidsteer
Must have Class 5 Drivers Licence, no suspensions, clean or low demerits.
