Surge of spruce bark beetle in Fiona-weakened trees keeping P.E.I. removal companies busy | CBC News Dead spruce trees are cropping up around Prince Edward Island this year, and service companies are seeing an increase in calls to remove them.

2025 Atlantic Tree Climbing Championships! An amazing day to witness the crowning of this years Atlantic Canadian tree climbing champion. This event is the “make up” of our event in Charlottetown that was rained out. Champion Thomas Blight will represent us in New Zealand in n October. Second place went to Pascal and Isaac.

Water is the lifeblood of our trees. As or before the summer gets dry and hot remember to water your trees. The best is a long slow water, even in mature trees.

Doing some watering today! As the summers get hotter and more dry it’s important to water newly planted trees and established trees. Lack of water causes stress to trees of all ages.
