My repost isn’t to “break this down” or critique how the officers did…or didn’t do in this video
It is simply to show how fast it happens…how violent it is…and how if you sign on to do this “job” you need to understand this is a profession, not a job
Profession meaning you need to be training and sharp always…because when the day chooses you, only effective action will solve a committed adversary
There is a reason I don’t miss workouts and I train on my own dime and time…this video is an example of why
Now go train…a little a lot

Get @reshare_app • @usacrime BELLEVUE, Washington — Newly released video shows the moment a man allegedly ambushed Bellevue police officers with a knife after calling 911 to report a fake domestic violence incident at a transit center.

Police say the attack happened December 12, 2025, at the Bellevue Transit Center on NE 6th Street. Officers responded to a report of a man and woman arguing, but instead encountered 38-year-old Mohamed Morray Bangura.

Body camera footage shows Bangura speaking with officers before suddenly pulling a knife from his jacket pocket and charging. Investigators say he slashed one officer across the face and stabbed him twice in the back after the officer fell to the ground.

A second officer opened fire, shooting Bangura three times and stopping the attack.

The injured officer was taken to Harborview Medical Center with a serious facial laceration. Bangura also survived and was hospitalized before being booked into King County Jail on $5 million bail.

Prosecutors say Bangura intentionally lured officers to the scene by placing a false 911 call reporting domestic violence. He now faces first-degree assault and second-degree assault charges, both with deadly-weapon enhancements.

Investigators recovered a fixed-blade kitchen knife at the scene.

Court records show Bangura had prior interactions with Bellevue police, including an incident in September 2025 involving threats against a security guard. He is currently awaiting a competency evaluation as the case moves forward. 02/24/2026
