The team spent the morning learning about how to support PHONOLOGICAL AWARENESS (P.A.). It’s not just rhyming and counting syllables, P.A. is learning to hear and work with sounds in spoken language, important skills for language and reading development.

Our SLPAs tested their knowledge with an outdoor rapid fire quiz, created new lesson plan ideas, and shared how targeting phonological awareness skills influences their day to day treatment.
