I’ll brake this all down for you..
I love the dukes of hazzard. Watched it daily growing up. Had a Dukes of Hazzard big wheel and all the cars to go with it. The confederate flag I thought for the longest time was the duke boys flag. I also certainly had a crush on daisy.

I only learned of the stories behind the original flag recently. Jesus can heal those wounds, he healed mine and that is why there are hearts there. Jacob and Esau were twins. Jake was holding the heal of his brother Esau when he was born, that’s like the story, he tries to hold his brother back, competing and trucking him out of his birthright, Wrestles with God is another meaning for Jacob. Inertia fights with a Jake Brake just like Jacob wrestled with God and his brother.

For me the first thing Dad let me do was flick the Jake! I shifted with my left hand from the passenger seat. I was run off a rig move or two for running my Jake excessively in my wilder days. Used to drop the bar down the mufflers of every new truck I got so I earned the nick name Jake Brake.
Then the first story I learned after giving my life to Jesus! Yep you guessed it, Jacob and Esau. Then the lord finally gave me a son and I thought his name should be Jacob , I kinda like that name.
So we started the company and I couldn’t think of a better name.

Before I knew Christ I was completed by all the cars, trucks and daisy dukes etc. Now I’m completed by Jesus alone. This truck was meant to glorify God from day one and regardless of how it all went I was blessed through it.

We are shifting gears now transitioning into a new season! I know I’ll be proud to wear this t shirts when they finally come. Please message me if your in for a coffee mug or a t shirt or hoodie etc.
