What a great way to start the first day of Fall! 🍂
We were in for a treat today! Chilly weather equals cozy food.
We used some of our local potatoes to make a delicious bacon potato soup, and made homemade cheese crackers to go with it.
And to top it all off, we used the rest of our apples from Apple Hill Lavender Farm last week to make a honey apple cake. It was delicious! 🍎🍯
We are full, cozy, and warm, and ended the day with a nice fall walk. 🩵

Strongly recommend you visit this super cool spot. We were able to pick Gala And Silken apples today. We are ready to have a bite, bake a pie, make some applesauce🤤...all things apple.
Stop in the shop to grab some beautiful lavender products too!

Yesterday a great time was had at the Hagersville Summer’s End Festival! Thanks to the Lions club for putting this together.
We had such a great time getting out into the community! We made several visits through the bouncy castles, took to the slides, said a Hello to Juliet the horse, and gave her a nice pat! 🐴❤️
And of course, veryone enjoyed a delicious hot dog, courtesy of the Lions Club.
Perfect weather, delicious BBQ and a great time. 🩵

What a way to kick off the month! Yesterday brought us a serious heat wave 🥵, but luckily, we had already planned a day at ! 💦
We spent the day keeping cool, riding the lazy river, running through the splash pad, and staying cool. 😎🌊
We even prepared a picnic beforehand and enjoyed it together in the middle of the day.

We headed to Simcoe this week and took a nice walk around town and visited some of these super cool murals by talented artists.

Last Wednesday, we headed out into the community to do a clean up!
We met a lot of locals along the way including Dingo the parrot!
