Don't forget to pick up your tickets to our Spay-ghetti and No-Balls Dinner. It's hard to plan an event when you don't know how many people are coming.
Tickets are at Global Pet Foods, Pet Valu and Ruffin's Simcoe as well as SimcoeDHumane shelter. We will have them available at the Yard Sale this weekend or You can also give us a call and purchase your tickets over the phone 5194289161 press 1. We will hold them at the door. (Closed Wednesday and Sunday)

Meet Rhonda, RhondaDaisie and RhondaBrownie. Mom and her two babies were found wandering around local farmlands. The finders posted the mom and pups but noone came forward.
SimcoeDHumane was called to see if we could help ... another mom and pups needed help! We believe they are a Border Collie Husky mix, pups are about 10 weeks old and Mom about 2-3yrs.
Unfortunately, mom tested heartworm positive. She will have her vet appointment tomorrow to see what treatment is viable.
Heartworm does NOT need to happen.
Both suffering with heartworm AND the treatment can be so hard on the animal. Prevention is simple and is way easier and more economic than the cure!

Again, here is another animal that needs your support!

This beautiful girl was overly frisky when she arrived with her kittens that were eating on their own and happy.
We gave her a couple of weeks to settle in and today, during her spay appointment, her FIV/Felv/ Heartworm test came back positive for HeartWorm.
This certainly adds to the medication list and the cost of her care and length of stay just went up.
This $5 Friday, please help with the cost of our HeartWorm positive animals!
