Early bird gets the quail!!
I had the pleasure this morning of feeding these baby American Kestrels while sipping my morning coffee.

Inside an Eastern Screech Owl nest box here at the CRC.
I count three little heads with mom keeping them warm on a colder May afternoon.

We have some room in our Drop in Photography/Educational Session this Sunday!

The Owl in the picture will be part of the session!!
He is a Seven Week old GHO that we are training for classroom visits across the province.

Registration: No registration needed… just show up! Leave a message on this post or send us a private message if you plan to attend.
This will give us an idea of numbers!

We average about 15-20 people for our drop in sessions.

Birds Flying: Bald Eagle, Ferruginous Hawk, Harris Hawk, Great Horned Owl, Red-tailed Hawk, Peregrine Falcon and Black Vulture.

Birds Static: Great Horned Owlet, Screech Owl,
Gyrfalcon and Barred Owl
