We are back on the gram after a much needed break. Can the boys get any sweeter?
Yes that is Harlan's crib in the background, and our big eye sore of a dehumidifier. RV life leads us to constantly reorganize our space , buy huge random appliances and retrofit the space, and shift our thinking. Do we want to stare at a massive dehumidifier ?No....but it keeps our RV nice and dry while we are living in what people refer to as a "trailer killer region", lol.
This being said, we love our RV and being in it because it means we are together, one of the main reasons we are doing it our way. RV living may not be luxurious and amazing all the time, but we sure do love it, for us, for now. Because this picture.

We found snow up the mountain. It is not very wintery here on the Sunshine Coast but just go up a mountain road and bam! Our Ontario boy must have snow! Check out our stories for mr. bubby doo snow pics. He was definitely in awe as it was his first true snow encounter.

Pierce working.
We are lucky that Pierce is a carpenter. He has been able to work as we travel while I take care of our little guy. For now we are staying put on the Sunshine Coast for the winter and are going on our fourth month here!

If we are lucky, we see the island from the spot like we did this one morning, and a tugboat or two, and if we are really lucky, the tugboat is pulling a log boom. Quintessential BC coast sightings.
When we see Vancouver Island on a clear day, it reminds me of how we saw Michipicoten Island from Old Woman Bay on Lake Superior so many months ago now. Some nice old gals told us we were lucky to spot the island. So, everytime I see Vancouver Island, I(Erin) think of how lucky we are....and remember the nice old gals and that beautiful day at Old Woman Bay as I look at the beautiful presentation of our now.

The boys, hiking in the temperate rainforest!
Coming from Ontario, we are so fascinated by the rainforest here on the coast of BC. It is so cool! We love taking walks and hikes on the many different trails here 9n the Sunshine Coast. Also, Pierce cut his hair!!

Cant believe it has been 3 months since we arrived on the Sunshine Coast! This was a special day for us.....we had finally made it to the coast and were doing our ferry crossing to Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast. The YTA crew was stoked to be on a boat in the ocean. If you know us we love boats! In fact we sold our beloved cruiser Peppy, to embark on this adventure. We thought we could never let our boat go, but then we opened our hearts and minds to what adventure truly means to us.... and sold it. All of the boat adventures were just preparing us to continue on adventuring.
It was cool to be on that crowning moment of a ferry crossing. Realizing that we had made it to the coast after 3 months of traversing Canada in awe of its awesomeness. Here we were, our little family, on that big boat that we had traded Peppy in for, on the way to another undiscovered part of Canada for us, on our great expedition, guided by our relentlessly adventuring spirits.
