Stroke recovery is often made up of small moments that gradually build into meaningful change. 🤍

In the early stages, progress may look subtle — improved balance, increased awareness of movement, or small gains in coordination and strength. Over time, these changes can help support greater independence, mobility, and confidence in daily life.

Recovery is rarely linear, and each person’s experience is different. Rehabilitation focuses on supporting the brain and body as they relearn movement patterns and adapt over time.

At Vangool Wellness, care is guided by each individual’s goals, abilities, and stage of recovery — with a focus on steady, supportive progress. 🌿

W-sitting is common in young children — but staying in this position too often may place extra stress on the hips and knees, while also limiting trunk rotation and core engagement.

Instead of constantly saying “don’t sit like that,” try encouraging a variety of sitting positions during play and daily activities 👧🧒

Simple alternatives like:
✔️ Criss-cross sitting
✔️ Side sitting
✔️ Long sitting
…can help promote better posture, balance, coordination, and movement development over time.

Small changes in everyday habits can make a big difference. 💛

Menopause can bring changes that affect how the body feels, moves, and functions — often in ways that aren’t talked about enough. 🤍

Shifts in hormones can influence muscle strength, joint comfort, energy levels, sleep, bone health, and pelvic floor support. While these changes are common, they don’t have to simply be “pushed through” or ignored.

Supportive movement, pelvic floor physiotherapy, strength-focused exercise, and education can all play a role in helping people feel more comfortable and confident during this stage of life.

At Vangool Wellness, care is approached with the understanding that these changes are real, multifactorial, and deeply individual.

Support is available — and small, consistent steps can make a meaningful difference over time. 🌿

Searching symptoms online can sometimes create more uncertainty than clarity.

Pain is not one-size-fits-all — and neither is recovery. The same sensation can have different contributing factors depending on how the body moves, adapts, and responds over time.

General information can be helpful, but it doesn’t replace an understanding of your individual experience.

A guided assessment can help bring clarity — identifying what may be contributing and outlining a path forward that feels more manageable and specific to you.

Children aren’t just small adults — and pediatric physiotherapy reflects that. 🤍

Kids learn, move, communicate, and grow differently, which means their care needs to be approached differently too.

Pediatric physiotherapy focuses on creating an environment where children feel comfortable, engaged, and supported. Sessions are often play-based and adapted to each child’s age, development, interests, and goals.

From growth spurts to sports schedules to developing motor skills, treatment considers the unique needs of growing bodies — while helping movement feel positive and encouraging along the way. 🌿

The body often communicates through subtle signals — tightness, stiffness, headaches, or lingering soreness.

These sensations can be influenced by muscle tension, stress, and limited recovery over time.

Massage therapy offers a space to support both physical and mental relaxation. It may help ease tension, improve circulation, and encourage more comfortable, natural movement.

Taking time to slow down and support recovery can have a meaningful impact on how the body feels day to day. 🌿
