💰 Looking to make your therapy benefits stretch a little further?

Every insurance plan is different, so it’s always a good idea to review your policy or check with your provider. Many plans will cover sessions with student therapists as long as they are supervised by a registered professional.

Both Keiran and Lisa are supervised by Danielle McFadyen, Registered Psychologist, which may allow their services to be covered under some benefit plans.

With lower session fees and potential insurance coverage, working with a student therapist can be a great way to maximize your benefits while still receiving high-quality care.

Have questions about coverage or our student therapists? Give our office a call—we’re happy to help! 😊

🚲 Oops, we’re a little late to the party! June 3 was World Bicycle Day!

If you’re biking to your appointment, we’ve got you covered — we have a bike rack on site so you can safely lock up your bike while you’re in session.

Whether you’re cycling for fitness, transportation, the environment, or just because you enjoy it, we’re happy to support your ride to therapy. 🌎💪🚴

See you (and your bike) soon! 🚲😊

Ryan will be taking some time away from the office this summer. If you are currently a client of his, please contact the office for information about your care and next steps while he is away.

We’re also excited to share that when Ryan returns, he will be joining PPC Therapy Group on a full-time basis! 🎉

We’ll share more details as soon as we have them. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the office with any questions. 😊

Burnout recovery is not just about taking a break.
Real recovery often requires:
• nervous system regulation
• healthier boundaries
• support
• processing chronic stress
• reconnecting with yourself
• changing patterns that kept you in survival mode
You can’t always rest your way out of an environment, mindset, or lifestyle that continuously drains you.
Many people experiencing burnout are functioning, producing, caregiving, and showing up for everyone else while quietly feeling emotionally exhausted underneath it all.
Healing is not laziness.
Slowing down is not failure.
And your worth is not measured by how much pressure you can tolerate.
Burnout recovery is about creating a life that feels sustainable — not just manageable. 🤍

Mental health language is becoming more common online — which can be helpful, but also confusing when important terms lose their meaning. 🤍
Words like “gaslighting,” “trauma,” “triggered,” and “narcissist” carry real psychological weight and deserve thoughtful understanding, not casual labels.
Awareness matters.
Accuracy matters too.
The goal isn’t to stop conversations about mental health — it’s to create more informed, compassionate ones. 🌿

We get it — the economy is tough, and therapy can feel expensive. That’s why we’re so happy to have Lisa on our team! 💛

Lisa is able to offer low-cost therapy sessions at $60/session for the duration of her placement with us. This is a great option for individuals looking for support that is both accessible and high quality.

Want to learn more about Lisa or see if she might be a good fit? Check out her profile on our website or give our admin team a call — we’d be happy to help!

This describes the state of our business today 😩

Our admin team is currently away and our phone service has been a little spotty, so things may be running a bit slower than usual behind the scenes. We’re actively working to get everything resolved as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience and understanding while we navigate the chaos!

Thank you for sticking with us — we promise the humans behind the scenes are trying their best 💛

Healthy boundaries are not about shutting people out — they’re about protecting your peace, honoring your needs, and creating relationships built on mutual respect. 🤍
Boundaries help us recognize what feels safe, supportive, and sustainable. They remind us that saying “no” can be an act of self-care, not selfishness.
Some healthy boundaries might sound like:
• “I need time to recharge.”
• “I’m not available for that right now.”
• “That conversation doesn’t feel respectful to me.”
• “I deserve relationships where my needs matter too.”
When we begin setting boundaries, we often feel guilt before we feel freedom — but with practice comes confidence, clarity, and emotional safety.
You are allowed to protect your energy.
You are allowed to take up space.
You are allowed to choose peace. ✨
