HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
To all mothers and mother figures — thank you for your steady care, your instinctive generosity, and the countless ways you nourish us, both simple and profound. The meals lovingly prepared, the listening ears, the gentle guidance, the quiet sacrifices — these daily acts become the foundation of our lives and the heart of our communities.

Today we are especially grateful for this mama and chef, whose care reaches far beyond her own three boys. With quiet humility, she mentors and nurtures dozens of young people, sharing not only her love of food and the beauty of hard work, but also creating a place where they feel seen, valued, and at home.

Happy Mother’s Day to all moms — and to all those who mother with open hearts.

SK ELK MEATBALLS
Meatballs, like good stories, began as a way to make something humble stretch a little further—scraps of meat gathered with yesterday’s bread, a handful of herbs, and the quiet wisdom of not wasting what we already have. From the fragrant kitchens of the Mediterranean to the steaming broths of Asia, they’ve traveled lightly, adapting to whatever was fresh, local, and loved. Each one carries the imprint of its place: olive oil or soy, lamb or pork, with always the same intention—to nourish generously and without pretense. A meatball is never just thrift; it’s care, shaped by hand.
On our menu currently features uniquely a Saskatchewan meatball story.
Local SK elk, honey glazed delicata squash & ‘Rhodes’ black currant demi glaze, crispy parsnips.
