What a wonderful evening celebrating recent retirees and long-service award recipients of Local 1975!
CUPE Local 1975 represents over 2,000 workers at the University of Saskatchewan in a variety of different jobs. This includes workers in clerical services, food services, applied scientific services, facilities and operations, maintenance, library, customer service, security, and trades.
Thank you for your many years of service and dedication to the learning and research community at the University of Saskatchewan!

As Deputy Chair of the Crown and Central Agency Committee, I've been incredibly frustrated at the refusal of the SaskParty Government to convene the Committee and open the books.
I want to hear from you if you have knowledge about misdeeds at our Crowns. Please get in touch at openthebooks.ca

The Sask Party wants to keep you in the dark on their plan for power in Saskatchewan. We are doing our best to get to the bottom of this disastrous plan for coal, but all we got back was 1500 pages of redacted documents, with very little actual information.
Most of what we do know about Scott Moe’s 26B plan for coal is coming from brave folks at Sask Power who are leaking this info that the public needs to know.
Our plan is available for everyone to see on the internet at gridandgrowth.ca
Let’s move Saskatchewan forward with affordable, reliable and clean energy solutions.

The affordability crisis has spiraled out of control, leaving foster families struggling to make ends meet. Lack of mental health supports and long wait times for services mean foster families are left managing crises for years without required professional help. And to top it off, the government has also failed to ensure appropriate respite care is available for these families when they need it.
If the Sask Party government budget is about protecting Saskatchewan, why isn’t it protecting foster families and the children who rely on them?

We should NOT be cancelling renewable energy projects to keep coal plants running at a catastrophic cost of $26 billion.

Investing in foster care provides safety, stability and support for vulnerable children. Kate and Bill Greyeyes have been foster parents for almost four years but they, along with other Saskatchewan foster parents are living with effects of a system that lacks supports and investment. More and more foster families are struggling to make ends meet and are being pushed out of the system, putting even more pressure on families who remain fostering.
Thank you all nurses and care givers!
