After a year of working 3 jobs, I decided to take the summer off pet sitting to give myself a break and enjoy my summer.

Now at the end of summer, I am still feeling a bit overwhelmed working 2 jobs at the same time.

Working almost everyday with minimal time to myself has proven I cannot do 2 things full heartedly.

For those who are not aware, I am also a makeup artist and started working at Sephora seasonally last winter. My seasonal position turned into permanent, and recently I have become certified to work as a makeup artist with Sephora.

Makeup is equally a passion of mine to working with animals, but the instability of pet care makes it tricky to focus full time.

I have decided to take a break from both walks and pet sitting to focus on my career as a makeup artist.

I want to thank every client who trusted me with their furry family members and if anything changes, i will definitely reach out.

The Sarnia Police Service is extending an invitation to the public for the swearing-in of Vader, the Police Service Dog, on August 9, 2024, at 12:00 PM, at Norm Perry Park at 300 Exmouth Street, Sarnia.

The event will include a demonstration from Vader and his handler, Constable Urban, and their training partners from the Windsor Police Service, followed by dignitary speeches, the swearing-in and photos.

This is an opportunity for the public to learn more about Police Service Dogs and the implementation of the Canine Team at the Sarnia Police Service. This event will occur rain or shine.
