Humans are the only mammals that do not co-sleep.

Every other mammal sleeps in contact with their young. It’s instinctual. It’s regulating.
Yet somewhere along the way, we were told that babies should sleep alone. Most likely for the schedule of the working class. We were told independence starts in a crib. That closeness is dangerous.

But biology hasn’t changed.

Human babies are born the most vulnerable of all mammals. They need our warmth, our breath, our heartbeat. They need proximity to regulate their nervous system. Infant brains literally develop through co regulation with their caregivers.

Co-sleeping isn’t a trend. It’s ancestral.
It’s how we’ve always done it until modern culture convinced us otherwise.
