Transitions is operated by Islanders Working Against Violence (IWAV) and all proceeds are used towards our anti-violence programs including the Transition House, Stopping the Violence Counselling, PEACE program for children/youth and Outreach programs.

🧡 Tomorrow, September 30th, is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡
We will be closing the Transitions Thrift Store tomorrow in honour of this day. We reopen on Thursday, October 1 at 10:00am.
We respectfully and gratefully acknowledge that IWAV and the Transitions Thrift Store are located on the unceded traditional territories of the Hul'qumi'num- and SENĆOŦEN-speaking peoples.
We encourage everyone to attend this free community event hosted by the Coastal Blood Singers, from 12–3 pm at Fernwood Dock and Cafe Flora.
Wednesday, September 30th is National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.
Come on out to this free community event from 12pm-3pm being held at Fernwood Dock and Cafe Flora. Hosted by the Costal Blood Singers.
There will be a BBQ Fundraiser provided. No chairs are provided, bring your own if you'd like.
