St.Thomas Jumbo Jets

🏊‍♀️ SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT: FINAN SWIM SCHOOL 💙

We’re proud to have Finan Swim School as a sponsor of the St. Thomas Jumbo Jets!
With more than 40 years of experience, Finan Swim School has been helping children build confidence and develop strong swimming skills. Their new location at ActivityPlex in London features a warm 90°F pool, small 4:1 class ratios, and lessons for children and adults.
As part of their partnership with STJJ, Jumbo Jets families receive 15% off swim lessons at Finan Swim School which is a great added benefit for our swim families! 💙💛

Thank you to Finan Swim School for supporting the St. Thomas Jumbo Jets, our athletes, and the continued growth of swimming in our community. We’re grateful to have you as part of the STJJ family!

💙 THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING SPONSORS! 💙

Behind every race, every practice, every personal best and every moment of growth is a community that helps make it all possible.
We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors for supporting our swimmers and investing in youth sport in our community. Your generosity helps provide opportunities for our athletes to train, compete, build confidence, create friendships and continue doing what they love. 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️
Supporting a local swim team means so much more than putting a logo on a banner. It means supporting young athletes as they learn about dedication, perseverance, teamwork and sportsmanship.

To our sponsors: thank you for being part of our team. We truly appreciate your support and are proud to have you in our corner! 💙

We encourage our swim families, friends and community members to show some love to the local businesses and organizations that support our swimmers.

💙A bittersweet goodbye to two incredible athletes, leaders, and role models. 💙
Today we celebrate Reina and Siena as they begin an exciting new chapter this fall. Reina is heading to Dalhousie University, and Siena will be attending the University of Ottawa. While we couldn't be prouder of all they've accomplished, it's impossible not to feel a little emotional watching them leave.
Siena joined our swim family at just 5 years old, and Reina at 6. Over the years, we've had the privilege of watching them grow not only into exceptional athletes, but into remarkable young women. Their dedication, perseverance, sportsmanship, and love for this team have left a lasting mark on everyone around them.
This past year, they stepped into coaching roles, giving back to the next generation of swimmers with the same passion and encouragement they brought to the pool every day. Their leadership and influence have helped shape our team in countless ways.
For their coaches and parents especially, this moment comes with mixed emotions. They’ve watched them grow from little kids chasing dreams into confident adults ready to take on the world. What a privilege it has been to be part of their journey.
Reina and Siena, thank you for the memories, the laughs, the leadership, and the example you've set for all who follow in your footsteps. You will be greatly missed, but your impact on this team will be felt for years to come.
Once a part of this team, always a part of this team.
We wish you both nothing but success, happiness, and unforgettable adventures in the years ahead. Go chase your dreams. STJJ be cheering you on every step of the way! 🏊‍♀️✨

That’s a wrap on the 2025/2026 swim season! We of course would like to thank our amazing coaches, sponsors, athletes and parents for an amazing season. We had a great end of year party even though it was cut short by all of the (dozens) tornado warnings all buzzing on our phones. Food, friends, awards. Our athletes continue to encourage and cheer each other on.

Let’s come back strong than ever for our 2026/2027 season!

Bella Mates showing us exactly what STJJ stands for…Hard work, fun, and sportsmanship. Here she is wishing her opponent in the neighbouring lane good luck 💙

Please consider sponsoring this amazing group of athletes and please share this post! 🙂
