Spirited Notes

Not the circumstances I had hoped for as I close out my studio, and head into my retirement as a piano teacher. Was planning a Spring Recital with Special guests, former students and all of my current students. Was going to say thank you's to so many. Was going to be profound in my words of encouragement to my students going forward. Was going to hug so many people... so many people.

My final post as Spirited Notes will be that instead. Here I thank all who have been a part of my career, my students, my cheerleaders, my own teachers, my business advisors, my husband (who wears so many different hats, like event coordinator, piano mover, flower arranger, cheerleader, MC, dancer... and so much more), and so many more people. When you love what you do, it's such a beautiful gift. Teaching for all these years (20+) has allowed me a window into different learning habits, different homes, different teaching methods, and I have been soooo blessed to have guided all my amazing students through their piano journeys.

I want to make sure that all of my former students know that my home is always open to them... your choice mug will always be waiting to be filled with tea... my ear will always be open... my piano will always be dusty, but tuned!

Due to respecting the Medical recommendations surrounding COVID19, I am Looking at moving lessons to virtual classroom for the next three weeks!

Parents/ Students, let me know if you have zoom for a live lesson, or if you would prefer to send me videos of your practise and I send you notes back!

Join the Russell Community Choir! Concert with Coco Love Alcorn, on Thursday, May 2nd.
Only a 4 week commitment! Thursdays in April from 7-8pm. (please commit to at least 3 rehearsals)
The Amazing and Beautiful Coco Love Alcorn will be blessing us with her music, her voice, and we will be here back-up singers!
If you love to sing and make beautiful music with others, this is for you! All are welcome. Nothing brings people together like singing - good for the soul, good for the heart, good for your health! And don't tell me you can't sing - I heard you all at the Christmas Coffee House!
