We live in a world of high performance and sometimes the pressure that comes with it can be heavy; the pressure from ourself and the one we feel from others. It is a real challenge to stay healthy in the midst of it all. Ive been on this musical journey for 12 years now, completely focusing on how I can grow on this path, as an artist but mostly as a human. I’ve been building this project Marycee alone the whole time, facing many doubts and always finding a way to truly appreciate the victories in between. I am fortunate to have an amazing community that is supporting me since day 1 and this is probably one of the main reason I Kept going, because of the love and support from all of you. You reflected me that I can achieved anything my heart feels aligned. And im beyond thankful for that!

I’ve had the chance to play with some of my biggest inspiration over the time, artists that are genuinely inspiring by their capacity to create music from a place of love, light & unity. Opening for Giorgia Angiuli was more than a opening set for me: it was a gift of light after thriving 12 years building Marycee, while staying true to myself, focusing on my health and the vision I hold inside my soul.
The whole night felt like a blessing and a big celebration in my heart & soul. That night taught me that even if this journey has never been easy, im worthy of being who I am and expressing my honest self. Thanks again Dear Giorgia for bringing consciousness in our world and for this time we shared together. Dancing on your set was truly healing and opening for you was one the most meaningful moment of my life! ❤️🙏🏽
