β˜•πŸ”₯ AUCTION ITEM #5 β€” KEURIG K-MINI PLUS πŸ”₯β˜•

Because every good firefighter, farmer, camper and grill master knows one thing... coffee is essential. β˜•

Our final auction item is a Keurig K-Mini Plus Single-Serve Coffee Maker, generously donated by one of our silent supporters.

At less than 5 inches wide, the K-Mini Plus is compact enough to take just about anywhere β€” and it brews a fresh cup in minutes.

β˜• Features include:

β€’ Brews 6–12 oz. cups using K-Cup pods
β€’ Strong Brew button for a bolder cup
β€’ Removable one-cup water reservoir β€” just add fresh water each time
β€’ Fits travel mugs up to 7" tall with the removable drip tray

The K-Mini Plus is small enough for the kitchen counter, camper, trailer or RV β€” but we think it would also be right at home beside the Blackstone, next to the Pit Boss smoker, or keeping someone caffeinated during combining season! πŸšœβ˜•

πŸ”₯ GRILLING? Coffee.

πŸ”₯ SMOKING A BRISKET? Coffee.

🚜 STUCK IN THE FIELD? Well... hopefully you've got coffee.

πŸš’ HELP US BUILD OUR TRUCK

This item was generously donated by one of our silent supporters, and we're incredibly grateful for their contribution.

🚜πŸ”₯ AUCTION ITEM #4 β€” 129,000 LB TOW STRAP πŸ”₯🚜

Combine season is coming... and sooner or later, somebody is going to get stuck. πŸ˜‰

Our next auction item is a 129,000 lb Tow Strap from Northern Strands β€” a serious piece of recovery equipment that's right at home on the farm, acreage, worksite or in the field.

πŸ“ 12" wide x 50 feet long

That's a LOT of strap, giving you plenty of length when you need some extra distance between equipment during a recovery.

Whether you're getting equipment unstuck, helping out a neighbour, or adding another piece of heavy-duty recovery gear to your farm equipment β€” this is one item you hope you don't need, but you'll be glad you have when you do!

🌾 With combining season just around the corner, this could be a great addition to the farm truck or equipment trailer.

⚠️ Please use all recovery equipment only within its rated capacity and according to the manufacturer's instructions.

πŸš’ TRADE UP FOR A TRUCK β€” THE NEXT PHASE πŸš’

When we started our Trade Up for a Truck campaign, our goal was simple: raise enough money to help put together a wildland firefighting truck in service for Rosthern and area.

Thanks to the incredible support we've received from our community, local businesses, organizations and individuals, we're well on our way!

In fact, we're more than halfway through the project, with donations and funds raised so far helping us purchase equipment, parts and other items needed to get the truck ready for service.

As we've moved forward with the project, we've decided to transition the remaining donated items into an online auction. This allows us to turn these items into funds that can go directly toward the truck and the equipment it needs.

So, we're putting the following items up for auction:

πŸ”₯ Pit Boss Sportsman Smoker
πŸ”₯ Blackstone 28" Griddle
πŸ”₯ 129,000 lb Tow Strap
β˜• Keurig K-Mini Plus
🍳 Pit Boss 6-Piece Cast Iron Cookware Set

Every dollar raised will go toward our Trade Up for a Truck project.

We'll post photos and details of each item, along with the starting bid and auction information. Keep an eye on this page and bid generously!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this project so far. Whether you've donated an item, made a financial contribution, purchased something at one of our fundraisers, shared our posts, or simply cheered us on β€” you've helped us get this far.

We're not quite at the finish line yet, but we're getting there.

Rosthern Fire & Rescue.

On Saturday, the RM of Duck Lake hosted a Volunteer Appreciation BBQ at the Regional Interpretive Centre to recognize and thank everyone who helped during the Lobstick Fire.

Wildfire Appreciation Certificates were presented to the Duck Lake Fire Department, MacDowall Fire Department, and Rosthern Fire & Rescue in recognition of their dedication and service.

The RM also expressed its sincere appreciation to the local farmers and ranchers who hauled water and operated heavy equipment, as well as to everyone who supported the response by providing meals, drinks, supplies, and assistance in countless other ways.

Thank you to everyone who stepped up to help. Your generosity, hard work, and community spirit made a meaningful difference.

We are proud of all the crews and folks that helped out. It truly takes a village to make things successful.
