When you ask some of your favourite people to help promote your upcoming event and somehow your living room turns into a mini rave 😭😂

This was honestly a chill hangout turned quick content session. We propped up a makeshift DJ table, set up a camera, threw together a little Boiler Room-style setup, and started filming some promotional content for our upcoming event.

Special thanks to the famjam for partaking in my endless shenanigans LOL

What started as “let’s film a few clips” quickly turned into everyone hanging out, playing music, dancing, laughing, and basically throwing an impromptu party in the living room.

And honestly, those are some of my favorite moments.

No venue. No production. No tickets. Just friends, music, and good vibes.

A lot of people only see the final event photos and videos, but there’s so much fun that happens behind the scenes, practicing and just vibing out. Sometimes the memories you remember most are the random moments that weren’t even part of the plan.

Huge thank you to everyone who swung by to help with the content, support the events, and spend the evening together. The community we’ve built is something I’ll never take for granted.

Who knew a living room could become more fun than the rave? 😂🖤

This was one of our signature all-white parties, complete with some absolutely crazy surprises throughout the night and an ending that had the entire room talking.

One thing I’ve always loved about RaveFX is our ability to transform ordinary spaces into unforgettable event experiences. A lot of people walk into a venue and see a room. We walk in and see the potential for a dancefloor, a community gathering, and a place where memories are made.

It’s honestly become one of the staples of the RaveFX brand.

We don’t need massive festival grounds to create magic. Give us good music, good vibes, a great atmosphere, and amazing people and we’ll figure out the rest.

A huge shoutout to Boostha, an incredibly talented producer and friend from Calgary. It was such a pleasure having him on the lineup and introducing his sound to the Vancouver crowd. Always a good time whenever our paths cross.

Special thanks as well to the entire team, the artists, volunteers, dancers, and everyone behind the scenes who helped bring this event to life. These events have always been about growing a safe space for the community and showcasing our talented artists, and I’m proud of the work we’ve done!

I don’t normally share personal stories on this page, but this was such a beautiful experience that still ties back to music so I wanted to post it here. This is basically a recap of my chopped transitions while camping out in the absolute boonies 🫪

I’ve always loved 90s hip hop and R&B. It’s what I grew up listening to and what I naturally feel most comfortable mixing. The newer hip hop stuff is honestly a bit more challenging for me, so I’ve been spending more time practicing and experimenting with different transition styles.

Y’all would never see me scratch on stage, but I love mixing it up when we’re all just chilling with the famjam. The night always ends with karaoke too 😂

The first transition in this clip absolutely killed me. If you watch until the end, you’ll see me burst out laughing because I immediately knew it wasn’t my best work 💀😂

But that’s part of the fun.

Not every mix is perfect. Not every transition is clean. Sometimes the best part of learning is being able to laugh at yourself, keep practicing, and keep improving.

More than anything, this was just a beautiful experience. Being surrounded by the famjam, nature, disconnecting from the noise of everyday life, and spending time doing something I genuinely enjoy.

I’ve always loved combining camping and music. There’s something special about stepping away from the city, touching grass for a few days, and coming back feeling refreshed and inspired.

In all seriousness, their set was absolutely incredible. I’ve been a fan of theirs for a long time, so getting the opportunity to share the same stage and lineup is something I genuinely don’t take for granted.

I’ve met them before, so this was my second time sharing the stage with them, which made the whole experience feel even more surreal, more like running it back and building on a moment rather than a first time introduction.

They’re both super talented artists and really cool people in person as well.

Moments like this always hit a bit later when you look back and realize how far things have come. Standing on the same lineup as artists you’ve followed and respected for years is one of those quiet milestones that means a lot over time.

This photo represents one of those checkpoints for me.

Different stage, same energy, same respect, and even more appreciation the second time around.

Thank you for all the opportunities, thank you to the organizers who continue to believe in me, and thank you to everyone who showed up and brought the energy that night. None of this happens without the community.

One thing I always find interesting about DJing is that every set is different. Some nights you have insane production, lasers, CO2, visuals, and all the bells and whistles. Other nights, you have to lean more heavily on the music itself.

This was one of those nights.

After Beauz’s heavy production set, I started playing and realized all I was getting for the first half of my set was yellow scanning lights so the energy was fading fast. I went to pivot right away and quickly switched it up to keep the audience engaged through singalong bangers 🫪

If you’ve followed my sets for a while, you know I love creating those moments where everyone is singing together before diving back into the heavier music.

To me, that’s what makes a great set. Not just the drops, but the journey. The ability to connect with people, read the room, and create moments that everyone remembers together.

Looking back, it was actually a really fun challenge. It reminded me that production can really elevate a performance so much and that great music and crowd connection will always be a foundation.

These clips are completely raw and unedited, but they capture the energy perfectly. Just people having fun, singing their hearts out, and sharing a moment together. Thank you everyone for such an amazing night!

What I probably pride myself on the most as a DJ is the ability to blend absolute singalong bangers with heavier music and somehow make it all feel natural 😭🔥

To me, a great DJ isn’t just someone who plays hard drops nonstop — it’s someone who can move across genres seamlessly, get the crowd emotionally invested, and guide people through a journey with the music.

One second everyone’s screaming lyrics together with their arms around each other… next thing you know we’re deep into heavier sounds, faster BPMs, and full rave energy. That transition and crowd control is one of my favorite parts of DJing.

Reading the room is everything. Knowing when to build tension, when to make people nostalgic, when to shock them with something unexpected — that’s the art behind it all for me.

It’s always fun exploring different stages, meeting new people, sharing music, and just creating moments together at the end of the day. No matter how big or small the crowd is, I never take those opportunities for granted.

This post is a bunch of raw footage from the old FX Fridays days at Bassment Club 816… and honestly it’s crazy looking back at an era where we were casually running events from midnight all the way to 6am 😭🔥

Bassment was truly one of the OG spots for afterhours culture and late-night music lovers. The energy there was DIFFERENT. Nonstop vinahouse, hands up music, hard techno closing sets — pure chaos in the best way possible.

And if you know… you KNOW about “power hour.” ⚡
Once it hit around 5am, everybody just went all out. No holding back. The drops got heavier, the tempos got faster, and somehow people still had energy left to bounce like it was midnight again.

Some of the best vinabounce edits came out of nights like these too — sometimes even English flips mixed into the madness. It was one of those eras where we were all just experimenting, pushing ourselves creatively, and fully living in the moment.

Forever grateful to everyone who was part of that era. Those nights honestly helped me craft RaveFX 🖤✨
