Our Tickles & Giggles Storytime wrapped up for the season this week, but we’ll be back in September! Thank you to all the little ones (and their grown-ups) that joined us 🥰✨!

The TD Summer Reading Club is hoping to make this a great summer! And to get our young readers excited, we're putting together a few surprises...

We're currently collecting supplies for our summer programs and would greatly appreciate any donations. Every contribution helps us create fun, engaging activities for children and families throughout the summer!

Rosie just signed up for her first library card! Let's give her an extra warm welcome 🎉😊!

Armed with her new card, Rosie is a reader on a mission 🥸. She's working her way through the 100 Books Before Kindergarten program and she's already half-way through!

Interested in joining Rosie? 📚100 Books Before Kindergarten is a free program for ages 3-5. Read any 100 books together before starting kindergarten in September to earn a certificate and a letter to bring to your teacher to share your impressive feat. Just sign up at the children's circulation desk and receive your tracking paperwork😁.

For the grand finale of our Craft & Connect series, our friends from LIP will be joining us! They'll introduce us to the Portuguese art of mosaics and teach us a little something about the history of mosaic making.

What's better that doing hands-on crafting? Doing it with others! Chat away while you create something awesome (like painting, friendship bracelets, delicious treats, and collages!) every Tuesday night. For the grand finale of the Renfrew Public Library's Craft & Connect series, theyr'e bringing US IN!

We'll introduce us to the Portuguese art of mosaics and teach everyone a little something about the history of mosaic making. It's going to be extremely fun so come along and check it out.

We're looking forward to our upcoming B.I.A.K. Drumming session this Thursday, a meaningful and engaging program for little ones and their caregivers. Enjoy Algonquin teachings through songs and stories with the Bonnechere Inòdewiziwin Abinòdjìnjish Kikinàmàg EarlyON Mobile Unit.

🎉The TD Summer Reading Club is back!

All summer long, we'll be celebrating amazing authors, illustrators, and stories while inspiring young readers to discover the joy of reading their way📚✨! Join us and play on the GIANT game board, read books to grow our octopus' arms, and enjoy weekly in-person programs.

The Launch Party takes place on June 26th at 1 PM. At the party, you can register for the TD Summer Reading Club, grab your summer reading passport, play games, and score some treats.

The Colour FUN Run/Walk/Roll isn't the only fun we're having today! The library is also hosting a traditional spinning and weaving demonstration put on by our friends at the Arnprior Museum. The demonstration starts at 1:30 and there will be a spinning and weaving kids craft afterwards for everyone to try out!

Come see a traditional weaving and spinning demonstration and learn the Quechua and Spanish language differences with Emily Stovel from the Arnprior & District Museum! Stay afterwards for a weaving workshop with the Local Immigration Partnership and try weaving yourself! ALL ages are welcome!!!
