On Sunday I had the privilege of attending the Guy Weadick Pro Rodeo in High River. This rodeo holds a special place in my heart and has always been one of my favourites, being a part of it was truly a blessing. I had so much fun riding in the arena, spending time with the other queens and helping the mutton busters!

Something that made this rodeo incredibly special was that it was one of the Golden Rodeos. Being a part of the Golden Circle of Champions and supporting these kids going through pediatric cancer while giving them wonderful experiences at rodeos is something I am honoured to have had the chance to help with. I was so grateful to meet one of these resilient kids and spend the day seeing him enjoy the rodeo. This cause is something that inspired me to run for Queen in the first place with hope that the opportunities and support for these families will go a long way.

Thank you for having me, Guy Weadick!

Until next time, with grace, grit and glitter 💙

I kicked off my season as AHSRA Queen with the Sundre Pro Rodeo!

Friday night was an amazing time and I was blessed to be able to watch the crowning of Miss Sundre. Selling raffle tickets and signing autographs was a great opportunity to meet all of the fantastic rodeo fans!

Saturday mornings pancake breakfast at Freson Bros. was such a blast with a delicious breakfast, live music and even a fire truck! After that our group of queens visited all of the lovely ladies and gentlemen at Mountain View Seniors’ Housing.

Thank you for having me, Sundre!

Until next time, with grace, grit and glitter 💙

Hi everyone! I’m Chloe Horne, and I am honoured to be your new Miss Alberta High School Rodeo Queen. I am so excited to wear the crown this year and represent our incredible association and the positive impact rodeo has across Alberta. This is truly such a blessing, and I look forward to all of the opportunities and experiences this year will bring.

Rodeo has always been a huge part of my life. I compete in team roping, breakaway roping, and cutting, and I come from a family that shares the same passion for the sport—my brothers and cousins all compete in Jr and High school rodeo as well. Through rodeo, I have had the opportunity to meet amazing people, build lifelong friendships, and become part of an incredible community. I am so excited for the year ahead and look forward to representing the traditions, values, and spirit of the Alberta High School Rodeo Association.

Until next time, with grace, grit and glitter 💙

Gratefully Yours, Kally. 💙

For the past 365 days, Kally Wills has represented the Alberta High School Rodeo Association with grace, professionalism, and a heart fully dedicated to our members.

From rodeos and community events to countless conversations and appearances, Kally embraced every opportunity to serve as Miss Alberta High School Rodeo. She represented Team Alberta with pride, always carrying herself with kindness, integrity, and genuine enthusiasm for our sport and our members.

The crown may only be worn for a year, but the impact of that year lasts much longer. Anyone who had the opportunity to meet Kally knows just how much she poured into this role.

Thank you, Kally, for your dedication, your leadership, and the example you set for the young women who will follow in your footsteps. You have left a lasting mark on Team Alberta, and we are grateful for everything you have given to this association.

As one chapter closes and another begins, we look forward to supporting Chloe Horne as she begins her journey as Miss Alberta High School Rodeo. But today, we celebrate Kally and a year of service that will not soon be forgotten.
