π Inspired by the Wild Horses of Alberta β€οΈ
There is something truly special about the free-roaming wild horses that call the foothills of Alberta home. Their beauty, resilience, and untamed spirit have inspired some of our favourite creations.
Using our own wildlife photography, we have created a collection of Canadian-made apparel and accessories that celebrate these incredible horses and help keep their story alive. From cozy cushions and tote bags to canvas prints, each piece is designed for those who feel a deep connection to the wild.
π A portion of our profits helps support wildlife and conservation efforts because we believe that when people connect with nature, they are inspired to protect it.
π΄ Explore our Wildies Collection and bring a little of Alberta's wild spirit into your everyday life.

Wow! 7 moose calves! That is a lot of formula for these growing babies! Here's a great way to help make a difference ππ
A huge thank you goes out to the many, many people and organizations that have contacted us and dropped of an abundance of browse for our orphaned Moose calves! If you have left a message and we still haven't gotten back to you, we apologize as it's been a hectic time. Our Moose are feeling the love and filling their bellies with all your support!
Our next Moose challenge? They are still in need of specialized formula which is not a cheap purchase. Now that we're up to 7 babies, we're going through it quite quickly. With each bag coming in at $160 (and that's with a discount from our friends at Caroline Feed Store), and we've purchased 10 bags already, and will need another 10 soon, it's very hard on our small budget. Can you help?
Any donations you can provide towards the formula would make a world of difference. Visit the link below and choose "Moose Formula" under where you'd like your donation to go. Thank you!

π¦ Happy Father's Day to the dads who lead by example, protect with quiet strength, and remind us that some of life's greatest lessons are passed down simply by being present.
This Father's Day, we're celebrating the special bond between fathers and their young with "Mini Me" - a moment we were fortunate to witness and photograph in the wild. β€οΈ
Below is the story behind this image and why this gentle scene touched our hearts:
"Mini Me"
It always pays to be prepared...
These two mule deer bucks were captured in a split second as they paused to look back at us while making their way through a tall hay field. With the camera already in hand, we were able to freeze a fleeting moment that lasted only seconds but told a much bigger story.
What immediately caught our attention was how perfectly the younger buck mirrored his majestic father. From the alert expression and oversized ears to the velvet-covered antlers just beginning to take shape, the little fellow seemed determined to follow in the footsteps of the handsome buck leading the way.
There was something special about seeing them side by side. The younger buck looked like a miniature version of his father, a living reminder of how nature often repeats itself in remarkable ways. Though still years away from carrying the impressive antlers of the older buck, he already carried the same curious gaze and quiet confidence.
Moments like this are one of the reasons we love spending time in nature. Sometimes, if you're patient and prepared, you are rewarded with scenes that speak to the bonds between generations and the simple beauty of family.
We couldn't help but smile and think of a fitting title for this image... "Mini Me." π¦
Some things never change. Sons have a way of looking up to their fathers, whether they walk on two legs or four. ππ¦

π¦ Happy Fatherβs Day β€οΈ
Hereβs to the strong, steady souls who guide us through the wild paths of life, just like this majestic buck watching over his young one. Whether you're a father by blood, by heart, or by spirit, your presence leaves a lasting imprint.
Today, we honour all the protectors, mentors, and quiet role models, human and wild alike.
Behind the Scenes...
Remember awhile back we posted a photo of a pile of feathers & asked who you thought they might belong to... well for anyone who guessed great horned owlets you were right on! π¦π¦π¦
These little fluff balls were hatched at the Medicine River Wildlife Centre by a pair of captive owls! What an amazing feat to see reproduction happen within captivity!
This video was taken when they were less than a week old. Last week these little owlets were fostered into other nests so their foster parents can teach them how to fly, hunt and be an owl.
A HUGE thanks to everyone one & all their volunteers at this amazing wildlife rehab center that made this all happen πππ¦

π΄ The Wildies Have Fans Around the World π
Recently at one of our markets, we met 2 lovely ladies from Belgium who instantly recognized our wild horse pillows. As we chatted, they excitedly told us that their main reason for coming to Canada was to travel to Sundre, AB, to meet a wonderful gentleman they had connected with on FB who rescues Alberta's wild colts.
I knew right away it had to be Darrell Glover!
We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Darrell & Barb of the Help Alberta Wildies Society for the incredible work they & their volunteers do, not only in rescuing Alberta's wild horses, but also creating awareness that reaches far beyond our borders. To think that their passion & dedication inspired 2 women from Belgium to travel all the way to Alberta is truly remarkable!
These ladies were absolutely ecstatic about everything they experienced while visiting you. And Darrell, the fact that you welcomed them to your ranch & introduced them to little Winona, the recently rescued foal, made their dream trip even more special. Those are the kinds of memories that last a lifetime.
Your compassion, hard work, & willingness to share these amazing horses with others are helping people around the world fall in love with Alberta's wildies & understand why they are worth protecting.
Thank you, Darrell & Barb, for being such wonderful ambassadors for these horses & for reminding us that one person's passion can truly make a difference around the world β₯οΈπ΄
