How are you connecting with God this summer? I'd like to share a few examples this Sunday of how people are connecting with God during this season of relaxed schedules, camping, holidays, and no school. Whether it's using the Psalms, or a different reading program, or on your own or with someone, feel free to reply to this post, or email me at [email protected]. I won't share your name unless you specifically give me that permission. Thanks!

Here's something we've been saying at UBC for awhile...http://www.patheos.com/blogs/formerlyfundie/church-isnt-something-sundays-lies-killing-church/

Church Isn't Something You Do On Sundays (Lies Killing The Church) Church isn't something you do on Sundays-- it was supposed to be far more beautiful than that.

We had 19 members of our team for last nights "Coldest Night of the Year" event in support of the Mustard Seed, and our team raised over $1400! Thanks to all who walked and/or supported us. Next year we hope to give you more advance notice, to enter a larger team, and raise even more money and awareness for this significant cause and ministry.

Hey FB friends. The UBC team is $135 short of our goal of raising $1500 for the Coldest Night of the Year walk tonight. It's not too late to go online and support Rob McLaren to push us over the top. Just look up "coldest night of the year" and follow the links.
