MARA HAS BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING SINCE APRIL...

Mara has been in care since April 2026, and somehow this sweet girl has had almost no applications. 💔

Mara is a 2-year-old, 55 lbs and stands below the average person's knee! Mara LOVES her people. She’s cuddly, affectionate, smart, potty trained, kennel trained and always up for an adventure.

• Adventure buddy? Absolutely!
• Cuddles? Always.
• Dogs? Potentially, with slow/proper introductions.
• Cats? Nope, she needs a cat-free home.
• Kids? Older the better! Mara can play a little rough!

Mara is looking for someone who will give her structure, exercise, patience and lots of love. She doesn’t need a perfect home… she just needs someone to finally choose her!

Adoption fee is $475.00. Mara comes fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and spayed.

After waiting this long, we’d really love to see Mara’s face on your feed a LOT more. Please share and help us find her people. 🐾

MEET SAYLOR ❤️

Recently our friends at Alberta Animal Services had a dog dropped off who was a little different than most.

She was missing half her leg and her “stump” had grown calloused like a paw to protect itself. Despite this, she was happy as could be and loved people!

After no one came forward to claim her, they reached out to see if we would take her on. Our vet recommended amputating closer to the hip to prevent open sores and increased stress on the remaining limbs.

Saylor took it like a champ and is in her foster home recuperating happily 💪

We have so many medical cases on the go right now! We are trying our best to take in what we can while keeping our heads above water!

YOU CAN HELP! Buy a raffle ticket to our current raffle for lifetime Christmas lights graciously sponsored by LumenTek Contracting Ltd. 👇🏻

https://rafflebox.ca/raffle/lightupforfosteringhope/

Let’s sell out and help pay down our vet bills!

**Saylor is not quite up for adoption yet but will be soon - keep an eye on our page!
