Every point on this graph tells a story.

COVID changed a lot of things, including our membership and the amount we were able to give back to our community. But instead of accepting that as the new normal, we've been rebuilding—one meeting, one member, and one donation at a time.

It's encouraging to look back and see the progress we've made. Even more exciting is realizing we're not there yet.

Our goal is simple:

100 Men. $10,000. Every meeting.

That's a room full of local men making an immediate difference for North Durham, four times a year.

Our next meeting is in October. Put it in your calendar now. Better yet, invite a friend. The fastest way to reach 100 men is for each of us to bring one more.

Let's keep the line moving up.

Another great 100 Men of Scugog meeting in the books.

Congratulations to Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Durham, who were selected by our membership to receive this meetings donation.

We raised $6,400 last night, with more still expected as members who couldn't attend continue to drop off their donations at Homestead Furniture.

Special thank you to North House and Lake Scugog Historical Society for taking the time to present. Every one of them is making a meaningful difference in our community, and hearing their stories is always one of the highlights of the evening.

Thank you to everyone who attended and continues to support the work of 100 Men Scugog. It's inspiring to see what a group of people can accomplish when they come together for the benefit of our community.

🚨 100Men! Call to Action! 🚨

I’ve done the math… which is risky, because I was told there’d be no math when i joined...

We had 67 members at our last meeting, raising $6,700 for Operation Scugog Foodbank. Amazing.

Now for the challenge…

Our Bring a Buddy campaign is rolling, and if just half our members each bring one friend, we’ll hit the magic number:

💯 100 Men
💵 $100 each
❤️ $10,000 donated in one night.

That’s $10,000 going to either the Lake Scugog Historical Society, North House, or Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Durham

So here’s your mission:
👊 Members: Tag a buddy who owes you a favour (or one who can’t say no).
❤️ Wives & Girlfriends: Tag your husband… or better yet, just send him to the Port Perry Legion on Wednesday, July 15 at 6:30 p.m. with $100 in his pocket.

(Voluntold husbands are absolutely welcome.)

A big thanks to Rosario from Greco and Grace Salon for sponsoring some pizza for everyone at the last meeting. If anyone wants to sponsor next weeks meeting, or a coming meeting with some food, let me know. Rosario said it cost him about 100 bucks. Everyone seemed to enjoy it so I will try and keep it going if we have some support.

BRING A BUDDY!!

Hey fellas! Guess what—we got moved to the big room! You know why? Because you keep bringing your buddies and this thing just keeps growing 👊

We welcomed 6 new members and are now sitting around 68–70 guys strong. Could we be on track to hit 100men by next year????? 🫢

We heard from three fantastic charities:

Community Living Durham North Ride for Dad Durham Operation Scugog Foodbank

In the end, Operation Scugog took home the vote, and together we raised an incredible $6,700 to support their work in our community.

A big thank you to Rosario Greco from Greco & Grace Salon for generously providing pizza for the group—great to see others stepping up with interest in sponsoring future meetings as well.

Also, a huge thanks to Doug Babcock and Kevin Dissmann for helping set up the upstairs hall at Port Perry Legion!
