Open To Change

Through in-person interviews with community members about their experiences of addiction and mental illness, Open To Change has curated stories of pivotal moments in peoples’ journeys. These stories have been transformed into interactive works of art which will be installed around the city in the form of Story Boxes, engaging the public and creating dialogue. During Addiction Awareness Week, the Story Boxes will be gathered together for a final event and free meal at The Venue, where service providers and members of the public will experience the stories and create dialogue on the attitudes and perceptions of addiction and mental health in our society today.
