Triple F Rabbitry

Had a great day at the Spencerville Ontario rabbit show. Hosted by the EORFC (Eastern Ontario Rabbit Fanciers) club. Got some great comments and Show Stoppers Track Star earned her first leg. She took BOB in show A and BOSB in show C. Only 7 total satins entered in the breed so not enough of either gender for BOSB leg. Enjoy her side eye at needing to stay still for a picture.

Alot of times when starting to evaluate kits, breeders can forget the basics. Depth and with should match. I check feet to see width between heels to get a fast idea of who is pinched. Alot of things can be started in the 3 week age mark. Posing practice see which kits naturally want to pose with correct structure. Alot can change from this age but it gives you an idea of what you potential will have. Once you get used to your lines you will see a trend of mile stones hit at certain ages to look for. This little doe is 1 of 2 out of a litter of 7 that is the most correct balanced and wider foot base. With these being satins a milestone I want them to hit in 3 weeks at 6 weeks old is fitting my hand (all 5 fingers) between those heels.

This little mini satin doe at 7 weeks old is looking like she will have some potential on the show table.

Not very often there is a 4 week old during their fugly stage to show off. This little buck didn't get the memo.

A mini rex litter had to be fostered. The older half sister gained 1 kit to her litter and a mini satin doe gained 3.

Posed pictures of the fostered mini rex kits at 1 week 4 days old.

The past few days the 2026 kits started to be kindled. We won't have much to show until July when kits are old enough to evaluate and hit the show tables. These 4 litters are 1 litter of Dutch, 1 litter of mini satins and 2 litters of mini rex.
